oirdogyhiqnttlebwell, hi admin adn people nice forum indeed. how’s life? hope it’s introduce branch ;)
226. The One December 19th, 2008 - 16:19
Dude, you don’t have a clue. I see you watched a money market show and over hear the word 529. You don’t have that much money. Nor will your children, also they will only play soccer like you did. None of the big three.
225. MC December 15th, 2008 - 06:58
Yo JonnyB,
I heard those kids aint even yours!!! Looking at your wife im pretty sure those kids have all different dads….
I feel so sorry for you Jonny BoY!!!!!
224. Johnny B. December 12th, 2008 - 04:12
Actually “The One,” I have more money in my kid’s 529 plan than you will make in the next 5 years, so enjoy that dead-end job you got. Good news: your kids will probably end up going to the same junior colleges as Shawn Kemp’s 7 (or is it 8, 9?) kids. Don’t worry, my kids will tip them well haha.
223. The One December 2nd, 2008 - 18:45
Johnny B I think you need to worry about your family. It’s not for you to worry about his family. Take care of your kids, the one’s you can’t put through college. What a dum a**.
222. Johnny B. November 29th, 2008 - 04:24
Hey Shawn,
You need to focus on being a dad now.
221. alexrows November 26th, 2008 - 11:30

it’s official, shawn kemp will not play with premiata this year, I think that he’s carrer it’s over…
213. Roger September 24th, 2008 - 17:45
He’s not coming back, so let’s get it started now. What a loser!
212. alexrows September 24th, 2008 - 13:01
well kemp still didn’t return for the tournament in Scafati - I talked to roberto carmenati and he was still in houston. it’s interesting that all italian basketball is going crazy over him there. the best player since dominique to come play over there. he’s in the newspapers. everybody knows who he is. better than jordan in the 1996 finals.
unfortunately, the latest inside I have from there is that he may not return to play…
211. luca September 24th, 2008 - 00:55
where is shawn ????
210. alexrows September 13th, 2008 - 07:30
I’m going to see him play next weekend in Scarfati. hopefully, after a week of training he’ll play better
209. AL September 12th, 2008 - 11:34
1/7 FG 1/4 FT, tot 3 pts in 18 minutes, but he’s start training monday, it’s too early now. we must wait one month to see the real shawn
Why would you post the pic and not have the article in english. Go figure.
206. Mike Cali August 22nd, 2008 - 13:50
I have a TON of shawn kemp collectibles, which i rather not part ways with, but due to financial troubles im trying anyway to get extra cash. I got a size 48 white champion authentic, original design with the green stripe across the chest. 122 basketball cards, pretty much no doubles. an 8×10 autographed photo from 1994, stamped with the NBA licensed product logo and serial number. and a black pullover starter jacket, XL. the jacket is the second sonics design kemp wore, which has “sonics” spelled out with the space needle as the “i” and a basketball as the dot. if anyone is interested please e mail me at “white.owl.mike@gmail.com”
205. Antonyyo August 18th, 2008 - 17:37
It’s back.
It’s a dream, no matter what will be. It’s a new life.
I hoped for long years, day by day, waiting my favourite player to come back… and now… it’s even in my country!
GRAZIE SHAWN!
204. Hong Kong Shawn fan August 18th, 2008 - 09:37
Thank God. Finally, he did it and found his way to return. Expect to watch your first game in Italy in Nov 08 (would be appreciated even highlight only on Youtube)
Looks like some people in Europe have been following Kemp’s game. This is great news for Kemp, not the NBA but the next best thing.
Gonna wear my Shawn Kemp Blazer jersey tomorrow to celebrate. I wonder how I can watch Euroleague on Directv?
202. tim August 7th, 2008 - 03:26
I went on this fixforkix.com and got a jersey .They really seem to dig Kemp as well.
201. Michael August 6th, 2008 - 16:39

200. Babis August 5th, 2008 - 15:51
Hi, I’m Babis from Greece, and I am a huge fan of the Reignman!
I recently read that Shawn is thinking of playing in the Italian basketball league, with Montegranaro. Is it true?
I would be thrilled to see Shawn playing again after all these years!

Shawn Kemp Jr. knows all about expectations
By Rob Miech · July 24, 2008 · 9:54 PM
No. 42 for the Worldwide Renegades of Atlanta dragged that big old burden into the Silverado High auxiliary gym Thursday night at the Reebok Summer Championships.
Then he spent as much time on the bench as he did in the game.
Shawn Kemp Jr. noticed that his team pulled even with its opponent, then pulled away to win in the final minutes, with him in foul trouble on the sideline.
“That’s all right,” he said.
With a name like that, Junior might be carrying more weight on his shoulders than any other player in any of the three summer tournaments being staged in Las Vegas.
A top-100 national prospect by one recruiting service, the 6-foot-9 forward from Canton (Geo.) Cherokee High has come to terms with his name after four years in organized basketball.
“It’s a burden,” he said. “People expect me to be like him. I try to be my own person. I’m not my dad. I do what I do.”
Thursday, that meant spending a lot of time in a plastic chair in a tiny gym that was filled with collegiate coaches, parents and fans.
His father, the five-time NBA All-Star who reportedly made $64 million during his career, was not in the building.
Junior is the eldest son of Shawn Kemp, who has fathered at least eight kids with six different women.
“Out of the Reign Man’s scattered DNA,” wrote Sports Illustrated, “has grown another power forward who has played his way onto the national recruiting radar.”
Shawn Kemp Jr., the 17-year-old budding star with the size-19 feet – he’s expected to sprout to 7 feet by age 21 – has had a sporadic relationship with his biological father.
They’ve never lived under the same roof. They’ve never shot hoops together. In 2000, after an NBA game in Atlanta, Junior spoke with pop in person for the first time in four years. A half-brother and half-sister have contacted Junior via the Internet.
Senior rang two years ago, wanting to work on a relationship. Junior might work out with the old man, who’s 38, at his home in Houston when the summer circuit dies down.
He doesn’t play like his dad, Junior has heard from fans. He’s not good.
“Then I started getting better,” said Shawn Kemp Jr. “Yeah, I’ve had a lot to prove, to coaches, just everybody. But I’ve overcome it. I’ll handle it.”
Shawn Kemp Sr. was kicked out of Kentucky before he played a game for the Wildcats. A year later, he made himself available for the NBA draft.
He met Genay Doyal in 1989, in Seattle, soon after the Sonics picked him in the first round. Junior was born in 1991. Senior and Doyal never married, and Doyal moved to Atlanta with Junior when he was 5.
“He tells me to go to college,” Junior says. “He says I need to go to college and get an education, and try to go to the NBA.”
The tattoo on his right shoulder has SK and the No. 40 — his father’s number with the Sonics — inside a basketball.
Alabama, Georgia, Cincinnati and Mississippi supposedly have offered him scholarships, and Washington and Indiana might be somewhere in the mix.
He said he only knows of offers from Alabama and Auburn.
Kemp showed some smarts Thursday. He failed to bite on one foe’s drive to the hoop, instead staying low to block out his man. The driver missed. Kemp snagged the rebound.
On a pick-and-roll, he didn’t look too graceful trying to snatch the pass for an easy shot on the left side. But, to be fair, it was a lazy, low pass, and it landed out of bounds.
He played very good denial defense but his fade-away 12-foot jumper was way off. He spent the final seven minutes on the bench, cheering his teammates to victory.
“Play hard and work hard,” Kemp Jr. said he has learned from Senior, “and always do your best.”

189. Jason July 13th, 2008 - 23:31
I cant wait for the NBA the return to Seattle, i have a vision of all the legends in the the house opening night, Lenny Wilkins, Downtown Freddy Brown, Jack Sikma and all the rest, re-raising their retired jerseys back into the rafters one at a time in the brand new XBOX Arena, and as part of the event Shawn and Gary Payton also raise their jerseys as well, Seattle has always loved and will continue to love Shawn Kemp unconditionally, He is my favorite player all-time and has earned a place in the hearts of all Sonics fans.
…and by the way, i have spoke to other fans around the NBA and we all agree the best way to protest the crime that happened with OKC stealing our beloved Sonics and blaming it on the fans (which couldnt be further from the truth) is to not buy any OKC merch and remain silent during their possessions during games, please spread the word, OKC should have had to wait in line like other cities hoping to get an NBA team instead of stealing one, Take Care, J

He looked really fit in TV.
Where can i get an autograph?
177. Dan April 20th, 2008 - 21:19
I bought a shirt via the SK40 store at CafePress, they stuffed it up and sent me a small when i ordered an xtra large. I thought they might stiff me but they replaced it for free tho and sent the replacement out really fast so have confidence in dealing with them. Cafepress is efficient and friendly.

Great to see Shawn on TV with GP and Coack K, hopefully we can see him resume a career perhaps with one of the networks.

WEDNESDAY’S SCORES
By Terry Massey - The Sun News
Charles Slate/The Sun News
Cherokee’s Shawn Kemp Jr. shoots a free throw during the second half against Monsignor Pace.
MYRTLE BEACH –Cherokee (Ga.) doesn’t want to be judged by its first game in the Beach Ball Classic, an 80-57 loss to Monsignor Pace (Fla.) in Wednesday’s opening round.
Neither does Cherokee center Shawn Kemp Jr., who would prefer not to be compared to his infamous father and former NBA star Shawn Kemp Sr.
The 14-year NBA veteran’s namesake was held to seven points and four rebounds in the lopsided loss, producing less than half his season average in both categories.
“We didn’t play well at all,” Kemp said. “I don’t know if it was the six-hour [bus] ride - we only got here like 45 minutes before the game - or what it was, but we’re better than that.”
Cherokee, which won 25 games last year, didn’t live up to its lofty expectations, which is something the younger Kemp is familiar with. Along with his name comes the prejudices people place on him because of his father, who was known for his on-court talents and off-court troubles.
“It’s a lot of pressure that other players don’t have to deal with,” Kemp Jr. said, “but I hope I can live up to those expectations someday.”
Watching the 6-foot-9, 215-pound junior play, one word comes to mind - potential. Despite his height and raw athleticism, you can see a future star inside his gangly frame waiting to come out.
“He’s still real young and really doesn’t have a whole lot of experience at this level,” said Cherokee coach Steve Kvam. “He was ineligible part of last year and played behind [Cherokee-to-Dunwoody transfer and Florida State signee] Chris Singleton. He’s a good player, a lot better than he showed today, but he’s going to get a whole lot better.”
Several top college programs have recognized his potential. Rated by Rivals.com as the eighth best center in the Class of 2009, Kemp is being widely recruited and has narrowed his short list to Florida, Kentucky and Washington.
Kemp Sr. originally committed to Kentucky before being suspended prior to his freshman season, then started a trend of players bypassing college to go straight to the NBA. The younger Kemp has no such plans, and even his father advises against it.
“I talk to him on the phone every once in a while,” Kemp Jr. said. “He wants me to go to college and get my education first.”
Wednesday’s game also was a bit of a learning experience for Kemp and his teammates. Ryan Fleming and Chase Watkins scored 17 and 16 points, respectively, and the team shot 60 percent in the losing effort.
But Kemp, who had his hands full with Pace’s Ray Shipman and Terrace Saintil most of the game, committed five of his team’s 22 turnovers while wearing down against Pace’s full-court pressure.
“I would say we executed our game for about the first six or seven minutes and that’s about it,” Kvam said. “We didn’t handle their pressure very well.
“It seemed like every time Shawn touched the ball he turned it over, but it wasn’t just him. Our whole team effort was lacking and we’ve got to turn it around.”
Kemp and his teammates will have at least two more Beach Ball games to show they are capable of playing better against some of the nation’s elite teams.
“We know we can play better,” Kemp Jr. said, “and I know I can play better.”
Just as every team gets new life in its next game, every son gets a chance to become his own man.
172. Tuomas December 27th, 2007 - 11:14
Description, Rémi?
You got it, goes something like this: ”Now, I’ve been saying all along that this guy… is like a hurricane. I mean, you can see him coming (from) a mile away, you can see the storm buildin’ on the horizon, you feel his breeze before he gets there, and when he gets there he rains down on you”.
Good stuff, don’t quite know when he said it though. NBA Action aired it sometime during the 93/94 season (probably in March or February), but I’m not sure if I still have it on tape. That was Cage’s last year with the Sonics, big shout-out to a man with great heart and tremendous rebounding skills.
171. Nicole December 25th, 2007 - 22:51
Happy belated birthday to Shawn. I was just thinking about Shawn’s birthday 10 years ago. I drove to Charlotte to watch his team play the Hornets. The Hornets won, but I was happy to have been there.
Just another thought: If Shawn sincerely loves the game, but can’t make it in the NBA, perhaps he could join the D-League. It could give the D-League the kind of exposure it needs to gain popularity while giving Shawn the confidence and joy he could use.
I love Shawn and personally, I would watch him in the WNBA!
Hello, I’m desperately looking for a description of the “Rain Man” by Micheal Cage !
It’s about hearing a storm coming, and it ends by “and it rains down on you !”. I’ve seen it years ago, and can’t find it :/
If someone can help me, I’ll be glad !
169. Brecht November 24th, 2007 - 22:54
Shawn will turn 38 in two days. First of all an early happy birthday Shawn. I hope you are happy in your life today. Sadly you didn’t return to NBA and chances of you doing so are gettin’ smaller every day. I’m a big fan you, I live in Belgium and I have your Authentic white ‘94 Sonics jersey, I think I am the only one in Belgium to have one. I still wear it during my basketball practice thinking of you in your prime, especially the finals vs the Bulls which I saw when I was 16 years of age. You are the most sensational player ever !!! Peace!
i’m eric. joining a couple boards and looking
forward to participating. hehe unless i get
too distracted!

I am so excited to see this site up again. Yes, Shawn still has fans and I don’t care how long he stays out of the league and off the court, he will always have a place in my heart. My first memory of Shawn is a billboard in Atlanta of him with the Kamikaze shoe. Tell me I’m not throwback!!

Check the shoe gallery (97-98), he used in all white colorway as well (pic number 57 in cleveland gallery)!!
What’s up Kemp fans? Running a great site here. I have one question. Does anybody know the colorways released of the Reebok Shroud for Kemp? Was it just one colorway or multiple? I’d appreciate any help.
Does anyone know if any of Shawn’s sons are good ball players? I saw him holding one of his younger sons in his lap at the Sonics 40th anniversary night (where they recognized the All-time Sonics team) and the kid looked like a real stud, even though he was small.
How awesome would that be to see one of his boys carry on the high-flying dunk legacy of the “Reign Man” !
I am the biggest Shawn Kemp fan of all-time! I just read where he has signed with the Spurs! Is this true? If so, Reign Man is gonna get a ring yall!
138. Henley May 25th, 2007 - 16:09

132. DIRT July 1st, 2006 - 12:21
Kemp… bring back the old haircut, man. Get those miniature poodle [bleep]s off your head. You looked like a stud back in the day… don’t ruin the legacy with an Etan Thomas haircut.
Kemp’s my favorite player since I was a kid. I liked his strength and force in his plays in the old days. I even orientate my own game towards his old-school days. I’m happy to find such a great site in the web. Nice work! I Hope Kemp will find in his comeback whatever he is seeking for. But whatever he does, for me he will stay the big sonics kid, throwing down windmills and crazy stuff.
Sup,
I just posted another pair of Kamikaze II in a sz 6.5y. They would be perfect for your girlfriend to rock with you on the streets. They’re DS w/ out box. Email me if you’re interested. Kenny

So does anyone know where Shawn is gonna end up, if he ends up anywhere before the playoffs or will he just wait till next year. The lakers could use him down the stretch of this season if Phil Jackson will take a chance on him.
123. Rox* Fontaine March 26th, 2006 - 07:57

hi, i am looking for reignman 2 shoes. where can i find it? help me please.
KEMP is one crazy dude on the court and I can’t wait to see him play again. Nothing can come close to his alley-hoops when he was playing with Gary Payton. He’s the IN YOUR FACE dunk champ! Never won the dunk contest but no one can match him in-game. And what a great series he had against the Bulls in the NBA finals!
Come back!!! And please dunk over Carter for me! :)

Let it reign again ! Let it reign again ! Man I wanna see you back on the court. I like to see that hurricane a mile away and reign down on you! (got that from Michael Cage) comments coming from teammates or coaches. I know you’re working hard to return to the hardwood. Just forget the past and focus on tha FUTURE aka AMARE Stoudamire.

Hey, the Kemp Museum is the illest around. I don’t care what his weight is or what is in the media. Shawn Kemp is the most powerful (TRUE) power forward that has been in the game in a while! Who! since the Kemp era, have you seen throw the rock like the KEMP MUSEUM, lately! NObody! Kemps in the 35-36 age range, I say let it “Reign”! NFL players are doin it. You go DOG!
M-Dog OUT!
90. DL November 18th, 2005 - 01:14
Maybe we have another Shawn Kemp in the making. According to this online news site in Atlanta, it seems like Shawn Kemp has a son, Shawn Kemp Jr. who’s a 6-8 high school freshman. I wonder if this is true since this is the first I’ve heard of his son with the same name. The site seems to be legitimate, so it must be true since the guy has exactly the same name. Hopefully in a few years, we’ll see the rebirth of the Reignman!!!

Yo, what up. I’m a true Kemp fan. I remember some of Shawn’s craziest dunks. Anyways, I hope Shawn comes back to the league. in a hurry. I have yet to see a power foward do the things that even compare to how Shawn did things. Dunking, rebounding, etc. I don’t expect the same type of play, but I do expect hard work and hard play. The reign and thunder will happen anyway. Big ups to Shawn for the life adjustment. We all need one. It takes real person to face there mistakes and fix them. Keep it up baby!!!!

Hi
I really want to know something! Can somebody PLEASE answer this?!?
If you have watched the NBA Action magazine do you remember the Top10 prewiews at the end of the season? ( top 10 blocks, dunks, asists of the season ) When was Shawn on the countdown (for dunks and blocks)?
I know (i have it on video) that in 1994 he was on the 4-th spot for Top10 dunks, and in 1997 he was No.4 for blocks.
But for the other seasons i dont know.
I would really like to know was he on the Top10 courtside countdowns for the other seasons?
These Shawn Kemp’s messages are fake, as far as we know. There is no true news about Kemp signing for a NBA team.
85. Roger October 31st, 2005 - 09:13
Hello,
Im also a huge Kemp fan. Im trying to explain to my friend that Shawn was an All time top 5 dunker, but he doesnt understand. Does anyone have a good montage of his dunks??
84. Dejan October 31st, 2005 - 09:13
Hi Shawn
That is great news
I just want to know will you continue dunking?
I hope you do
Best of luck
I’ll see you in the air

83. Rox* Fontaine October 31st, 2005 - 04:37
That’s GREAT news Shawn! :) Best of luck!
Jason, your best bet for any Kemp jerseys is eBay. I’ve built quite the collection using it.
Hi Fans, my weight is down to 250. I’m jumping like never before! I plan on playing for the New Jersey Nets. I’ll see you in the air.
Webmaster note: We are pretty sure this message is fake.

Bye
79. Jason October 5th, 2005 - 09:33
Shawn Kemp is my favorite NBA player EVER! There will never be another like him!
Does anyone know where to find his throw back jersey at a reasonable price?
78. Dejan September 22nd, 2005 - 17:47
Hi
I really want to know something about a pic of Kemp that i got, but you dont have it in the gallery. I dont know how to post it but i know it will be huge!
On the pic Kemp is really high , his head is 3-4 cm over the rim, and his right hand is with the ball almost as high as the upper collumn of the board. If you have seen it i want to knoe what is he doing dunking or what? It is black’n white pic and they’re against the suns
Thanks
Dejan from Macedonia

That is great that you have the commercials BUT you are missing one. There is one that has a young guy rapping about Kemp. Does anyone remember this one? or better yet have this one?
76. Rox* Fontaine September 8th, 2005 - 00:27
Kaczy, your best bet is to use eBay. You will rarely find his shoes in stores.
75. Kaczy September 7th, 2005 - 12:08
Hi! I’m shawn’s fan since long time ago. I had a kamikaze sneakers in the past and i would like to buy them again. Do you know how can i make it happen? Please answer.
Shawn there won’t be nobody else like u – greatest dunker ever!
74. Rox* Fontaine September 6th, 2005 - 12:38
This is my new favorite website on the internet! I’m a HUGE SK/GP fan this site is a dream come true. YOU EVEN HAVE ALL OF THE SNEAKERS!!!
I’ll be sending in some pics of my stuff to contribute to the site.
Many people thinks that Payton and Kemp should have their numbers retired on the Sonics, but there is nothing serious about it. We shall wait to the definitive retiremente of the players.
In the fourth game of the 1996 NBA Finals, Kemp did five dunks, as long as I know.
I don’t know what Reebok’s country is, I’m sorry.
72. Dejan August 27th, 2005 - 18:18
HI
I want to know:
How many dunks did Shawn make on the 1996 NBA finals game 4, cos in a news paper report about that game was said that Kemp`s dunks left a mark on the game?
From which country does Reebok come from? cos it has the Brithish flag on the box of older shoes.
I’m from France, and i just want to say that all the League is waiting for the Reignman to come back. He is above everyone in the NBA, He is Above The Rime. Please Shawn, make my dream come true, come back.
70. Luis Juarez August 8th, 2005 - 00:47
Hi, I’m Luis and I’m from Mexico city
I just want to say that Shawn Kemp is by far one of the best dunkers, he enters in the select group of Dr J, Mike and LeBron. Though back in the day he was way better than the new cats!!!!!
69. Dejan August 3rd, 2005 - 19:15
Hi
I just want to say that this news from Shawn and especially his determination to make it big again, is great.I hope that he will still have his style of play and dunk even harder.I also hope that he can improve his vertical jump so he can dunk over a lot of this young punks today.
I want to know has it ever been said that his jersey could be retired ( by Seattle)
cos lots of others players jerseys have been retired even though they havent acomplished much as Shawn.
I want to say again , this is the best Kemp site Thanks
Professional Basketball players are always measured with shoes on, so the different height might depend on which shoes the player is wearing.
67. VanK July 26th, 2005 - 07:31
Hi! You have a terrific site, one of the best player’s fansites I have ever seen. But now - to the point. Do you have exact informations about Kemp’s height? During one of his Dunk contest appearances I heard that he’s 6′10 1/2″. I presume that’s his height with shoes.
66. braul July 24th, 2005 - 03:28
hey hey whats the update on my man SK. any new info would be appreciated
65. Dejan July 21st, 2005 - 17:25

This is really the best site of Shawn Kemp
You should really keep answering fans questions
Thanks

If Kemp dunked 12 times in a night has anyone dunked more?
We’re sorry, we don’t have that information.
The picture on this site (on the green old jersey) is Kemp blocking Mutombo, and is it from the ‘94 Playoffs?
Yes. He wore that jersey since 1989 throught 1995, so he wore in the 1994 PlayOffs. The Mitchell And Ness release has a mistake: it says “1995-96″, while that season Seattle had changed its jersey’s design and logo.
Has anyone blocked Kemp’s dunk while he was in seattle?
We at sk40.com haven’t seen it, but we guess yes - everyone who tries to dunk is exposed to get blocked.
Has Kemp ever broken the glass while dunking?
We guess not. We see it this way: O’Neal has raw power, Kemp is more stylish, so it would be much harder to see Kemp breaking anything.
How many dunks has Shawn made as a member of DT II and on which game the most?
As a Dream Team member, Kemp had 9,6 points per game. We calculate that 2/3 of his points were dunks. We have no more information on this.
Why there are no videos of DT II?
We have videos from the Dream Team II, but we are currently limited in our web space. We hope we can get more room soon.
Thanks for your interest!
63. Dejan July 19th, 2005 - 13:05
Thanks for the answer
I really apreciate it. This really is the best site
I want to ask:
If Kemp dunked 12 times in a night has anyone dunked more?
The picture on this site (on the green old jersey) is Kemp blocking Mutombo, and is it from the ‘94 Playoffs?
Has anyone blocked Kemp’s dunk while he was in Seattle?
Has Kemp ever broken the glass while dunking?
How many dunks has Shawn made as a member of DT II and on which game the most?
How many times has Kemp dunked the most in a single game?
As far as I know, Kemp made his higher number of dunks in a game against Dallas on 1993-94 season. He made 12 dunks that night.
On the Sonics all-time list on which position is he on rebounding points and blocks, and who is the closest to surpass him?
Kemp is the fourth higher scorer on Sonics’ history with 10,148 points, for an average of 16,23 per game.
He is the second overall rebounder in the Sonics history, with 5,978 rebounds. By average, he is 5th, with 9,6 rebounds per game. Anyway, he’s considered by the fans as the Sonics’ all-time best rebounder. Kemp is the number one blocker, with 959 blocks, 1,53 per game.
I have no current information on whom could surpass him on these stats.
Has Shawn blocked Shaq’s dunk?
As far as I know, Kemp has never blocked any Shaq’s dunk - and I seriously doubt that anybody has blocked Shaq’s dunks. If anybody has more information, please let us know!
Can anyone please post some videos of the Reignman tape?
You can try to get a used copy on eBay, or throught some P2P network. As long as there is no plans for a new release of the tape, these are the only ways to get the video.
61. Dejan July 18th, 2005 - 13:07

Hi, Matt. We have not posted anything about Shawn’s arrest because we focus on basketball and everything around it (shoes, cards…). We also prefer to wait until the facts are cleared up to update our biography. We do not intend this to become a rumor nor a gossip site - there are way too many now. Thanks for your support!
51. Matt B April 21st, 2005 - 23:33
suprised this hasn’t been posted, but recently kemp got arrested for drug possesion cause his friend apparently had some. he was arrested in shorline in seattle. it was in seattle times.

Any rumors or news about Kemp is upto as of late? Is he still training in Seattle for a comeback with an NBA/European team? Or was that just wishful thinking?
We have better quality videos for all those actually encoded on mp4 format. Sadly, we have limited bandwith, so we are obligated to put videos as small as possible. We’ll try to find a method to spread the full-quality videos in the future.
Other videos we host have been collected off the Internet, so it’s the best we have right now.
Thanks!
36. biddu February 24th, 2005 - 07:14
i would like to know if it’s possible to have an high quality version of mini-movies on kemp, particullary those of kamikaze shoes.
thanks
2) Shawn Kemp. For about five years, he was the most frightening dunker in the NBA. A different kind of cat, standing 6-10, with the nerve to bring 240 pounds of muscle and intensity. Those who matched his power were bigger. Those who matched his athleticism were smaller. He was that rare power forward who intimidated centers.
34. Vicman February 21st, 2005 - 04:10
What players do Kemp fans follow now that Shawn’s been out of the league and it’s been about 5 years since he was in good form? Personally Kevin Garnett has become one of my fav players for not only his game but his character and personality. The guy just gives so much of himself on and off the court and his ability is so very tight. It doesn’t hurt that his game also has a few similarities to Shawn’s. Speaking of similarities it seems Amare Stoudemire’s game has a good bit of what made Shawn special. There’s only 1 thing that I find lacking when comparing Amare to Shawn and that’s “style”, that’s one thing that no other PF ever seemed to have, at least not to the same level, as SK. That flair to SK’s game won’t ever be duplicated IMO because it was such a part of SK himself.
33. DL February 14th, 2005 - 20:20
thanks krauzi. i will try your link.
32. Dieter, Wiesbaden February 12th, 2005 - 23:52
I started to watch NBA games in 1994, the year the Knicks and the Rockets played a great final series, may the best I have ever been able to see. Some people say that the nineties had no real stars, but I loved to see the plays of Larry Johnson, Mourning, Shaq, Payton and, of course, the ‘Reignman’, Shawn Kemp. I enjoyed a lot watching Kemp reigning over Malone, Barkley, Coleman… he inspired me to be energic and to love what I do. I used to think that, if I tried hard enough, I could reach the NBA. Well, I didn’t reach, but anyway I’m very proud of having tried hard, just like Kemp. I hope some team shall sign him to let him reign one last time, because a king deserves a warm goodbay.
I downloaded the movie from krauzi but I can’t play it. I’m not sure what video format he is using, ie. “.ram”?? Let me know if you know how to play this. Thanks.
Hi, Gerg. I have tested the page in two Windows XP/Internet Explorer 6 boxes and the download works fine. I can only suggest that you try using another web browser, as Firefox, Kmeleon, Opera… I would like to give you a better solution, but this is all I can come up with. I hope it works.
26. Gerg in Hungary February 6th, 2005 - 08:54
Hi, Webmaster! I installed the quicktime but the .mp4 videos no work. :( I’ve got Microsoft Explorer. I don’t know what is the problem. If I click left button to the videos, open sk40.com, but If I click (left button) the .ram files the explorer start download the files. It is interesting. So the ram files are good. I’ve tried everything. :(
Hi, Gerg. Have you the latest Quicktime Player installed? May you get the files as html because your browser doesn’t recognize the mp4 file type? I guess Internet Explorer works that way. If you install the Quicktime Player, Explorer will be able to play the file.
May Internet Explorer is saving the mp4 file as html? If the html you get is big enough, let’s say more than 400 KB, chance is you can play the videos changing the file extension from .htm or .html to .mp4. Please tell me if this works.
24. Gerg in Hungary February 6th, 2005 - 05:03
Hi, Webmester! Yes, I tried clicking with the right button ( I tried download to flashget too). If I try download the video, my computer (I’ve xp) want to save a html document (not the video). The four shoes video I can download but the match highlights no. :-( I’ve realone too.
23. Admin February 5th, 2005 - 09:29
Hi, Gerg. Have you tried clicking with the right button over the link and choosing “Save File As”? This should download the file to your hard disk, where you should be able to play the file if you have Quicktime Player or Real Player installed. Please tell us if this doesn’t work for you. if so, please detail which web browser you are using. Thanks!

I been a fan since you played in Concord, man. Someone from n.w. Indiana told me you dunked over a car in high school. Is that true? The dunks were all good, but I’ll never forget your steal on Barkley vs. the Suns and you were down the court and airborne before that tub realized his flabby dribble wasn’t coming back to his hand. Anyone know all the words to that rhyme in the Reebok commercial about the man who “makes it reign”? Stuck in my head all day 9 or 10 years ago but now it’s gone.
Yo! New gallery with the shoes Kemp is fantastic !!!!!!! I visit this site every day

Hi Im from Ensenada, Mexico.
I became a fan of Shawn first by collecting all sonics cards, then when I started seeing this guy dunk, dribble , block, etc. well his game impressed me, so I continued collecting only his cards and watching his games, he really improved, and you can see in the playoff season when they got to the finals, he was doing it all, I mean when they won the semifinals to the Jazz, he took a lot of beating by Karl, and then against rodman, he really is still My idol, and I still have his cards, jerseys, even the USA olympics one!
I hope he comes back in great shape, Im not so happy now that his going to play with the nuggets, where his archrival, Dikembe, used to play! I think he was ok with the bad boys in portland

The picture was posted by someone who worked at wolfpk. The link was posted on his site’s forum. Unfortunately the link is not there anymore. But if you look at the picture (bottom left) of him on the the homepage of his site, you can tell he’s much thinner now.
DL, I got the video off a Spanish Sports Channel, Canal + Deporte. It would be nice to see those recent pictures you talk about! Please send ‘em to me if you can. And no, I haven’t heard any rumor on NBA teams interested on Shawn. I’ll post here if I get any info.
Krauzi, thanks by your support to Kemp! I’m adding a link to your site on the “Fans” section.

Really great site. I have to say that the desing is very clean, i like it so much.
Only one thing Al. I miss the Shawn poster of your bedroom, where is it? :P
Cheers!
where did you find the denver training camp video? i admire kemp for trying out even though he didn’t make the team. at the end of the clip you can hear the denver gm (kiki v.) saying that kemp has done a lot of miles on his body.
i’ve seen some recent pics of him though and he looks a lot slimmer than he was in that video. do you know if any nba teams are showing interest in him right now?

Hi, I’m Babis from Greece, and I am a huge fan of the Reignman!
I recently read that Shawn is thinking of playing in the Italian basketball league, with Montegranaro. Is it true?
I would be thrilled to see Shawn playing again after all these years!
Also, I am looking for a pair of Reebok Kamikaze II, tha Kemp used to wear in 95′-96′. I had a pair when I was younger, and I would to find one again. Especially if it is a size 12. If anyone has them please email me @ babis200sx@yahoo.gr
Thanks.

170. Rémi December 13th, 2007 - 16:25
Hello, I’m desperately looking for a description of the “Rain Man” by Micheal Cage !
It’s about hearing a storm coming, and it ends by “and it rains down on you !”. I’ve seen it years ago, and can’t find it :/
If someone can help me, I’ll be glad !

Peace!

What’s up Kemp fans? Running a great site here. I have one question. Does anybody know the colorways released of the Reebok Shroud for Kemp? Was it just one colorway or multiple? I’d appreciate any help.
140. jheff24 May 27th, 2007 - 01:34
139. jheff24 May 27th, 2007 - 01:14
I am the biggest Shawn Kemp fan of all-time! I just read where he has signed with the Spurs! Is this true? If so, Reign Man is gonna get a ring yall!
138. Henley May 25th, 2007 - 16:09

130. The Torments Streetballteam May 28th, 2006 - 07:31
Peace ..::The Torments - No.1 Streetballteam KA/Germany::..

89. Dejan November 13th, 2005 - 09:14

I just want to ask can anyone answer my question post #87?

88. RIO Y November 4th, 2005 - 15:37

87. Dejan November 2nd, 2005 - 10:51
Bye

These Shawn Kemp’s messages are fake, as far as we know. There is no true news about Kemp signing for a NBA team.
85. Roger October 31st, 2005 - 09:13
Hello,
Im also a huge Kemp fan. Im trying to explain to my friend that Shawn was an All time top 5 dunker, but he doesnt understand. Does anyone have a good montage of his dunks??
84. Dejan October 31st, 2005 - 09:13

That’s GREAT news Shawn! :) Best of luck!
Jason, your best bet for any Kemp jerseys is eBay. I’ve built quite the collection using it.

Good luck Kemp!

77. TJ September 13th, 2005 - 21:29

Hi, Dejan:
Many people thinks that Payton and Kemp should have their numbers retired on the Sonics, but there is nothing serious about it. We shall wait to the definitive retiremente of the players.
In the fourth game of the 1996 NBA Finals, Kemp did five dunks, as long as I know.
I don’t know what Reebok’s country is, I’m sorry.

The best Kemp fan

Hi VanK:
Professional Basketball players are always measured with shoes on, so the different height might depend on which shoes the player is wearing.
67. VanK July 26th, 2005 - 07:31
Hi! You have a terrific site, one of the best player’s fansites I have ever seen. But now - to the point. Do you have exact informations about Kemp’s height? During one of his Dunk contest appearances I heard that he’s 6′10 1/2″. I presume that’s his height with shoes.
66. braul July 24th, 2005 - 03:28
hey hey whats the update on my man SK. any new info would be appreciated

64. Admin July 20th, 2005 - 17:54
Hi, Dejan:

I really apreciate it. This really is the best site
I want to ask:
Thanks

62. Admin July 19th, 2005 - 09:20
Hi, Dejan:

Thanks in advance

Hi biddu,
We have better quality videos for all those actually encoded on mp4 format. Sadly, we have limited bandwith, so we are obligated to put videos as small as possible. We’ll try to find a method to spread the full-quality videos in the future.
Other videos we host have been collected off the Internet, so it’s the best we have right now.
Thanks!
36. biddu February 24th, 2005 - 07:14
i would like to know if it’s possible to have an high quality version of mini-movies on kemp, particullary those of kamikaze shoes.
thanks

By the way, nice website! Please keep it updated!

Hi,Webmaster! Unbelievable! Now Goood!!! :) In turn I dont do nothing. So, Thank You everything!!!
27. Admin February 6th, 2005 - 11:52
25. Admin February 6th, 2005 - 07:01

Nice site. On the bio page it has listed that Shawn bought shares in a NBDL team called the Oklahoma Storm. The Storm are actually a USBL (United States Basketball League) team.

I’m adding a link to your site on the “Fans” section.

where did you find the denver training camp video? i admire kemp for trying out even though he didn’t make the team. at the end of the clip you can hear the denver gm (kiki v.) saying that kemp has done a lot of miles on his body.
i’ve seen some recent pics of him though and he looks a lot slimmer than he was in that video. do you know if any nba teams are showing interest in him right now?
2. DL January 21st, 2005 - 20:11
